My background is communications and marketing strategy, having worked for the past decade for charities and think tanks.
Prior to having my children, I was brand strategist and delivery manager for a York-based agency, working alongside lots of big names to help with their messaging and proposition, and ensuring the projects were delivered to time, budget and strategy.
I now work with charities, NGOs and positive-impact led businesses to help them shape their messaging, understand how best to market themselves and ensure the delivery of their strategy.

Rebrand & website project management
Global Witness
Aug 2023 - Present
I managed the rebrand and website launch for a global NGO - Global Witness, an investigative campaigning organisation tackling the climate crisis. I started the project from the strategy phase, working with a number of agencies across the tone of voice, brand strategy, brand identity and personality, website content strategy and website development. The project took 18 months and included a collaborative process with a creative council, which I created through stakeholders, partners activists and supporters. The website involved over 5,000 pages of content which needed to be audited and mapped out into the new content plan, migrated manually to ensure everything was legally sound. The project ended in February 2025.
Content marketing strategy and delivery
Alena

Alena is a mental health start-up, using computational neuroscience and AI to create bespoke therapy for people experiencing social anxiety. I came in after the seed funding stage, to help develop a detailed content marketing strategy to help them gain further investment and interest in the product. I then worked with the team to deliver the marketing, including writing website content, articles, press releases and third-party articles for digital PR, influencer marketing briefs and scripts, email marketing and social media content.

Miracle Moon

Miracle Moon is a community and supportive membership providing therapy-based resources and support for parents who are experiencing or recovering from having babies in the neonatal unit. I worked with the founders to create a marketing plan, brand messaging and website content for launching their membership, and helped devise a PR plan for the launch campaign. The membership launched in September 2023 and is incredibly successful, being featured in Mother & Baby best influencers 2024 and Happy Mum Happy Baby as a guest expert on their podcast.

Twins Trust

I worked with Twins Trust, a charity supporting parents of multiples with their content strategy and website optimisation. Their website was previously a hive of complicated user journeys and inaccessible content, which I provided a strategy for untangling and streamlining. I then worked with their parent information team to develop new content for key areas such as sleep, preparing and applying for school, feeding and sourcing car seats.
