About me
I have been an NRCPD Registered Sign Language Interpreter (RSLI) for over 15 years working across London, South East England and further beyond as well as online. I can also be contacted for bookings requiring Sign Supported English (SSE)/English Interpreting.
In addition, since 2019, I have also become an NRCPD Registered Lipspeaker working with deafened and hard of hearing people who use spoken English, prefer to lipread and may use few or no signs.
The different domains I have worked in have been quite diverse, such as:
Remote interpreting using Zoom and MS Teams platforms
Professional (eg: office support, interviews, appraisals and meetings)
Training courses (both informal and those which are professionally mandatory or lead to certification in a particular area)
Theatre, both backstage (eg: rehearsals, building tours, production meetings) and on-stage/performance interpreting
Galleries, museums and heritage venues (eg: tour working with a hearing or a Deaf presenter)
Community (eg: medical, parent teacher meetings)
Platform work (eg: conferences)
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans (LGBT+) events
When not interpreting online, I usually work across Kent, London and SE England. Further afield and international can be considered.
