About me

David has worked in Financial Services since 2005, starting at Barclays, working through several roles, but a majority of his career was spent as a Relationship Manager for Barclays Premier Banking. Here he worked across a range of complex clients – Business Owners, Senior Professionals, Military Officials, Sporting Professionals and Entrepreneurs. This allowed him to build up a wealth of experience in creating meaningful relationships with his clients, helping them throughout every stage of their lives.

He later moved to an SME offering financial services out to the specialist Contractor, Freelancer, Business Owner & Self-Employed work force. He is now with Quilter Financial Advisers as a Financial Planning Consultant.

David lives in Hampshire with his fiancé Izzy, who works in Environmental Planning Services.
When not working, David enjoys a range of fitness activities including the gym and tennis. He also is an active member of his local Clay Pigeon shooting club. He is highly social and loves finding new places to explore both locally and further afield. He is a self-proclaimed geek and enjoys gaming and movies.
David thrives on meeting new people and building new relationships. This, in part, is one of his key reasons for him becoming a financial adviser.

Financial planning is about understanding where you are now, where you want to be, and creating a plan to get you there. So, whether you are saving for your future, protecting you and your loved ones from the unexpected, planning to retire, or passing on your wealth tax efficiently, the decisions you make and how to go about them are some of the most important you will ever need to make. 1. Understanding you - My first port of call is really getting to know and understand you – where you are now, and where you want to be in the future. I will also help you to understand what risk is, and the level you are comfortable taking to get there. I will also underline what you can expect from me throughout the process. 2. Planning - Next up, I will use everything from the previous step to research the best options to help you achieve your goals. Whatever my recommendations, I will outline what I’ve chosen for you and why and ensure that you fully understand everything we are doing together. This will all get delivered via a recommendation tailored just for you and your situation. 3. Implementation - When you are happy with what I am proposing, we will take care of any paperwork and implement your plan. This is the beginning of our financial journey together. 4. Refine - Life is constant change, and chances are your circumstances will change throughout your plan’s lifetime. So, it makes senses to regularly review the progress and appropriateness of your plans. This is something we can do together through on-going service, or you can tackle alone; it’s another area we will discuss across all stages.
